Makin' Valentine's Day Cookies

This morning Connor and I made some Valentine's Day Cookies. Connor's class at daycare is having a Valentine's Day party next week and will be decorating cookies. They get to add different colors of food coloring to white frosting to make fun colors. Once frosted, they get to add sprinkles and crunchy sugar to the tops! Since Connor has a dairy allergy we were trying out a new dairy free sugar cookie recipe today. They turned out great! Next week we will make them again so Connor can take a few to school to decorate. Connor had a lot of fun playing in the dough, rolling it out, cutting the hearts and especially adding the sugar. Of course, when asked which size of cookie cutter he wanted, he chose the biggest one!
