Halloween Bash

What an exciting day for a three year old! Connor was super excited about today and all the events that were occurring. Pumpkin carving, spooky foods and drinks, costumes, and of course candy! Our Halloween bash began by making toxic cupcakes, popcorn balls, a spider web dip, eyeball eggs, and pickled meat wraps. Then we made toxic black smokin' punch and bloody fingers. After all the treats were made and snacking was complete, it was time to carve the pumpkins. Just like last year, Connor was not sure if he wanted to touch his "pumpkin guts." After some convincing, he dove right in. Once the clean up was complete it was off to get our costumes on. Connor thought it was pretty cool that we all dressed up. Off we went to Trick-or-Treat our neighbors and get some yummy candy. Once the neighbor hood loop was complete, it was time to put the kids to bed and play Wii games. Allen and I kicked some grandparent bootie, even without practice! Tennis was a hoot for all four of us, and did you know I rock at golf and bowling? Who knew?

Happy Halloween!

"Do I really have to dig in there?"

Our finished pumpkins. Logan's is in the middle. He went simple this year, no carving his pumpkin...maybe next year!
