Tonight we got all dressed up in our costumes and went to our churches annual Harvest Party. Each kid is to bring a bag of candy for trick-or-treating and a can of vegetables for our harvest stew. Each classroom is set up with fun activities for the kids to do. There was a haunted room, a cake walk room, a science lab, spider making room, candy corn picture frame project, helium balloon toss, pool noodle poppers, and fishing for treats! After making the rounds, going from room to room it was time to eat our yummy stew, decorate cookies and then go Trick-or-Treating to each classroom. This year Allen and I headed up the candy corn picture frame project. We took pictures of the kids in their costumes then they decorated a picture frame with candy corn (craft foam), and glitter glue. The kids liked being creative and adding a personal touch to their picture frame. We had so much fun we can't wait for next year!
