Today was Grandparents Day and Connor's first ever Jog-a-Thon at school today. We decided to make it a special day for Connor and invite his Grandparents and have a BBQ dinner after school. Connor was pretty excited to see that ALL his Grandparents came...and so was I! We spent the morning in Connor's classroom learning the kids' morning routine, then headed off to the gym for some treats and drinks while meeting Dawn, the principle and watching a video of the kids. At 9:30 it was time for the Jog-a-Thon to begin! Connor did such an amazing job. He joined a running group called the Strider's Club at school. They would use their lunch recess to run and increase their endurance to prep themselves for the big day...which was today! Connor ended up running 25 laps! Good thing we all sponsored him a flat rate because the per-lap fee would have emptied our pocket books!

Can you find Mr. Jon?!
There goes Connor!

I love this picture of the boys!
Logan ran quite a few laps too, although he would
cheat at times and zip across the middle of the field to catch
Connor on the other side.
The reward at the end...Popsicles!
Good Job Connor!
