The New, Blue Cast!

Today was the day that Connor got his first cast, and hopefully his last! We met his Orthopedic Surgeon, took x-rays to see if the bone was set and straight, then he got to pick out what color cast he wanted. Who knew they would have so many colors for kids to choose from. Connor chose light blue, as opposed to dark blue, so he could see all his friends signatures. Connor did great and we will have a follow-up appointment in four weeks to check the healing of the bones.

One thumb up!
All done and listening to "how to care for his new cast."
DO NOT GET WET!
Reward for listening and being good (and because he could
not have the treat that they offered him, it of course had
milk in it).
Logan passed out while waiting in line for his
good boy treat.

  1. Am I missing something? Doesn't ice cream have milk in it? :) Good luck at keeping that arm dry Connor and mom!
