LJ Turns 3

Our baby boy is turning 3, WOW!  Logan is really into Thomas the Train so he chose to have a Thomas birthday party...shocker!  In fact, when the house is quiet we can usually find him in the bedroom playing with his trains and building train tracks. Since he loves trains, Allen and I thought he would love to ride on a real train.  We decided to drive to Hood River and ride the Polar Express.  The boys were excited because they got to wear their pajamas!  I even found Logan a Thomas the Train robe for his birthday, which he thought was pretty cool.  As we journeyed to the North Pole, we enjoyed hot chocolate and yummy cookies while listening to the story, The Polar Express.  Along the way we had to stop because there were reindeer on the track.  Thankfully no reindeer were harmed on our trip.  When we made it to the North Pole, we saw Santa and his Elf's!  We even stopped and picked them up!  Santa then asked each child on the train what they wanted for Christmas while his elf's handed out a bell.  After visiting the North Pole, we headed back to the train station and then home to eat cake, ice cream and watch Logan open his birthday gifts.

Opening gifts

What, not Thomas!
Because the wrapping paper of this gift had Thomas on it,
Logan thought the gift was going to be a train or something.
When he finally got the paper off he said in a silly voice, "This is NOT Thomas!"
It was so funny, I wish I got it on video.

What could it be???
Yes, a Thomas gift!
Cool, a Percy flashlight
