Cinco-de-Mustache day? What is that, you might ask. The history of this holiday (at Springwater School) stems back to Mr. Jon (the first grade teacher) and his college days. Every March 5th they would shave their beards off and sport a mustache for the day. This is followed the next day when Mr. Jon shaves his mustache, and it is funny because he looks very different without facial hair. It isn't an official holiday but at Springwater you may see students walking around with mustaches - painted mustaches, mustaches made out of tape and ones made from felt. It was a fun day for all the kids and some parents too!
