Today was Connors last day of Kindergarten. On the last day of school, at Springwater, we have a family day. There is a BBQ lunch for everyone, games and obstacle courses for the kids, awards are given out, and parents help teachers clean the classrooms and the school. We were so happy that it was sunny and warm today. In fact, we even got a little sun burned. This year Connor won an award for perfect attendance. We are so proud of him for completing his first year without missing a day. Don't get me wrong, there were days when he woke up and said "but mom, I don't want to go today." Whenever he said that I would tell him what my mom always told me. "If you're not pucking, then your going to school!" Hey, it worked and thank goodness he never tried to puke! Now we get the summer off to play, rest and enjoy the sun. Well, at least the boys get to play everyday!
