Connor's Dinner Prayer

This was Connor's dinner prayer tonight: "Dear God, thank you for Logan getting to go to school today, thank you for me getting to go to school today, thank you for daddy coming home safe from work, thank you for mom for cooking us dinner, thank you for our friends, thank you for our family, thank you for our toys, and thank you for the oven timer going off, hehe!  Amen."  Yep, the oven timer went off right in the middle of Connor's prayer and apparently he was thankful for that!  Of course, we all began laughing.  You just never know what kids are going to say and it feels good to come home from a busy day of work and hear some humor from your kids.  I love that his prayers are getting more complex and he is thinking about what to say and not just repeating the same things over and over each night.  Before you know it, I'll blink my eyes and he'll be leading the Lords table.
