Lego Club

Connor had the opportunity to join a Lego club...and who could say no to playing with and building Lego's with your best buddies?!  Tonight was their first meeting.  They received their theme, watched a video, decided on a team name and the colors for their t-shirts.  This year the theme is Super Seniors.  I know, sounds boring to the kids, but what they want the kids to see is that technology does not just exist, it had to start somewhere.  By interviewing an elderly person, they will wee that most of the technology we enjoy today did not exist all that long ago.  Our world was created by having a need and someone creating/inventing a solution.  So, that is what Connor's team will be working on over the next eight weeks.  They will come up with an idea (based on the theme) and then work as a team to create/design/and build it.  It will then be presented in the expo at OMSI at the end of the session.  The team decided that their name will be "The Black Unitors!"
