The Berreth Family: ASBA Decorations

This year at Church, Allen and I volunteered to be the directors of decorating for our All Summer Bible Adventure (ASBA). We have been the kick-off directors for several years and this year we decided to change it up! What is ASBA? It's just like vacation bible school but all summer long during our regular meeting times, Sundays and Wednesdays. This year our theme is Bible Heroes and our logo is FHL ,which stands for Faith Heroes League. During the summer our building is transformed, decorations cover the walls, there are skits and fun things for the kids (and adults) to do. On the opening Sunday, the kick-off day, we have a BBQ for everyone, challenge courses for the kids and of course prizes. After all the games are complete and the prizes are awarded it is time for a snack. Cookies and punch of course!

This year our auditorium is a cityscape (pictures to come later) and the downstairs is now being run by a super computer. Bible heroes cover the walls and each classroom is also decorated by the teachers. Here are some pictures to show you all our hard work. We are excited for the summer to begin so we can teach and learn more about God's word.
