More Strawberries

It's amazing how warm weather and a little sun will make things grow. Everyday I find more ripe, juicy strawberries to pick. On Wednesday the boys and I went out to the strawberry patch and picked a handful of fresh berries. I placed them on the table while we played games and enjoyed the sun. Little did I know, Logan had snuck away and was squishing all our fresh berries. He had strawberry juice running down his face, arms, and of course down the front of his white shirt. So Wednesday's lesson was: never leave strawberries in reach of an 18 month old! Today was another beautiful day and we picked more berries but kept these out of Logan's reach. These berries are already gone as we enjoyed them with our picnic dinner at the park tonight.
