Yippee, Santa found his way to our house and we must have been good this year because we all received wonderful gifts. We all went to bed late, after staying up and playing games, so I thought it would be hard to get up this morning. But that was not the case at all. We all slept in till 8:00 except for Grandma, I guess she was too excited to sleep! Connor actually came into our room around 6:00 and I thought for sure it was time to get up. To my surprise, he asked to snuggle, said Merry Christmas, then fell asleep until 8. With all my extra sleep I feel great today! Once we got up we checked to see if Santa ate his cookies and if the reindeer ate the dessert we left. Connor was pretty excited to see that they did eat it! All the gum drops were gone and Santa ate one and a half cookies and all of the milk! Connor thought he should have eaten both cookies but Grandpa reminded him that Santa has to pace himself because he eats cookies all night long. To which Connor responds, "yeah, then he'll get fat too!" After making some coffee and getting settled, it was time to see what Santa and all our thoughtful family members gave us. We want to thank everyone for giving us such wonderful gifts. We hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas!
