Every year our church hosts Parent's Night Out. Usually the first Friday in December, it's a night of free babysitting put on by the Elders and Teens. Parents can go on a date, watch a movie, or do some Christmas shopping without kids! Who knows what all the kids do, but they LOVE going and are usually so tired that they just fall into bed when we get home. Allen and I always look forward to the first Friday in December for our free babysitting night! Tonight we went to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. Ironically, Connor's school was having a fundraiser that same night, 20% of our meal ticket went to the school. It was nice that both events happened on the same day. After dinner we headed for the toy store to fill our shopping cart to the brim with Christmas and birthday gifts. We saw several other parents shopping and filling their carts too! I can now say that my Christmas shopping for 2010 is complete! Yippee!!!
